Safety
Training Videos |
|
| |
|
Of Risks and Men collection produced by Films Roger
Leenhardt is a series of ten video case studies examining the main types of
human error that threaten system performance. Each video discusses a
particular error and is illustrated by an account lasting less than ten
minutes of a disastrous industrial accident.
By knowing the main error mechanisms that could jeopardize safety in the
workplace, the managers and operators are aware and better
equipped to pick up the warning signs of a possible malfunction. This new
vigilance helps prevent risks and enhances company performance. Trailers of
the training video can be downloaded from:

Try
this URL!
The Japanese National Institute of Technology and Evaluation (NITE) has
posted an English version of their Website titled "Total Search System for
Chemical Substances." In this website, you can check the METI inventory
status by CAS number, METI number and chemical names. The site also has
toxicological, ecotoxicological, inventory information, chemical substances
lists under CSCL and several other regulations, all the ACGIH TLVs, etc.
This is a very comprehensive chemical information website that should be
bookmarked by all SHE professionals.
